Independent magazine and press for thought that matters
We publish work that provokes new thinking. Poetry, fiction, essays, visual art, and experimental work from voices that reshape how we understand the world.
About Theoria Discourse
Theoria Discourse is an independent magazine and press for thought that matters. We publish work across visual art, poetry, essays, interviews, and hybrid forms—anything that provokes new thinking and challenges how we see the world.
We believe the most transformative ideas often come from outside mainstream spaces. So we center Black, African American, and African diaspora voices. We publish Indigenous writers, disabled artists, queer creators, women, elders, and emerging voices alongside established thinkers.
What we're looking for: work that changes perspective. Writing or art that makes readers stop and think differently. Ideas that matter. Form that experiments.
